In a wild Friday update regarding Colorado defensive back Shilo Sanders, the Buffaloes’ star defensive back declared bankruptcy after losing a $12M lawsuit.

Sanders’ NIL earnings have now been called into question after disclosing just $325,000 in assets, despite currently having a Top 15 NIL valuation of $1.1M.

According to a report from On3Sports, “Sanders lost the initial judgment when it went to trial in 2022 and failed to appear. The court awarded John Darjean, [the individual suing Sanders for assault and battery], an $11.89 million judgment against Sanders after finding he had committed assault and battery.
