Ben Sinnott Impressing Scouts at 2024 NFL Combine
Former Kansas State tight end has been an incredible storyline to follow since walking on at Kansas State and now finds himself among the top tight end prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Sinnott is trending on social media this week after a dominant performance at the NFL Combine, which left scouts worldwide asking for more.
Sinnott’s numbers were off the chart in his relative athletic score, checking in as the 29th-ranked tight end out of the 1116 tested from 1987-2024. During one of his combine drills, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah raved about Sinnott, saying, “This is a tough kid. He wore No. 34 because he was a walk-on and didn’t ever bother to change his number, and said, ‘That’s who I am, I’m gonna embrace it.’ Let’s roll.”
Sinnott, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end from Iowa, put together a showstopping performance at the NFL Combine, including elite numbers in the exploding grade and agility grade, with great speed and okay size. The Waterloo native finished first among his position group in multiple different drills, including verticle jump (40″), broad jump (10’6″), and 3-cone (6.82).
The junior tight end was one of the most dominant pass catchers and blockers in all of college football last season, taking home Third-Team All-American honors, First-Team All-Big 12 honors, and possibly the best trophy in all of college football, Barstool Sports LowMan Trophy.
With scouts continuing to take notice, Sinott will likely be a Day Two lock in the 2024 NFL Draft. Sinnott is currently rated the fourth-ranked tight end in his class, according to NFLDraftBuzz.com. With his recent highlights at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, the former Wildcat’s stock should continue to rise.
