There has been a ton of movement regarding several key players in the Big 12 Conference ahead of the 2024 college football season.
PFF began to list its highest-rated transfer players by team, and Arizona running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt is one of the best new additions in the country.
Of the players listed so far, Croskey-Merritt had the highest rating with 92.7, but numerous other Big 12 standouts were also named, such as Arizona State interior defender Jeff Clark (77.5), Baylor guard Omar Aigbedion (89.6), and BYU linebacker Jack Kelly (73.1).
The 5-foot-11 offensive threat spent the 2023 season with the New Mexico Lobos, where he finished with 1,190 yards on the ground and 17 touchdowns but also showed flashes of his ability as a dual-threat option.
Croskey-Merritt added one receiving touchdown and 72 yards through the air. Before playing with the Lobos, he spent his first seasons with Alabama State and totaled 1,253 yards and 13 touchdowns.
The Arizona Wildcats are set for their first season in the Big 12 Conference and will kick off the 2024 season as hosts to his former team, New Mexico, on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 10:30 EST on ESPN.
