The Pat McAfee Show is coming to West Virginia next week.
On Thursday, McAfee announced that the show will be live from Morgantown next Friday, August 30, just one day before the West Virginia vs. Penn State game on Saturday.
McAfee said, “Next Friday, right before Penn State tries to walk into Morgantown. Biggest home opener for the West Virginia Mountaineer football team since 1998. Lot of years since someone like Penn State has tried to walk in. They don’t even understand what these Morgantown folk are going to be like. We will be live at noon eastern near the life science building.”
Here’s McAfee’s show announcement.
Pat McAfee played for the Mountaineers between 2005-2008 and was both a punter and a kicker. After playing in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts, he retired and launched a media career and has gone on to become one of the biggest personalities in the sports landscape.
Now for those wondering if this means College GameDay is coming to Morgantown next week, the answer is no. GameDay will be in College Station when Texas A&M plays Notre Dame. However, FOX’s pregame show, Big Noon Kickoff, will be live in Morgantown before the game airs on FOX.
Kickoff for the Penn State game is set for 12:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, August 31st.
