Kansas State Basketball Announces 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule
The Kansas State Wildcats became the latest basketball team in the Big 12 Conference to announce its 2023-24 non-conference schedule on Tuesday afternoon, ending their streak as one of the last teams in the league to make the announcement.
The Wildcats take on a total of 14 teams in their official non-conference schedule including an opening day matchup against the Emporia State Hornets on November 1st to kick off the 2023-24 season.
While teams usually try and avoid setting up too many difficult games in the non-conference basketball schedule, the Wildcats’ second game of the season does feature a matchup with Bronny James and the USC Trojans in Las Vegas on November 6th.
K-State finished off the previous season in third place in the Big 12 Conference with an overall record of 26-10 in the first year of the Jerome Tang era in Manhattan. With the Big 12 Conference continuing to expand its ranks through 2023 and 2024, the Wildcats enter the fall season as a program to watch in the future Big 12.
K-State tips off their first game on November 1st against Emporia State which should provide a much-needed dose of basketball following the excitement from 2022-23.
