Look: Travis Scott Shows Up at Texas Spring Practice
Cactus Jack, a brand owned by rapper and artist Travis Scott, launched the new “Jack Goes Back to College” apparel line in coordination with several universities across the country on Thursday morning.
Complete with headwear, upper- and lower-body clothing, and backpacks, the new lineup has college students all over the country excited about getting their hands on the latest merchandise from the uber-successful recording artist.
However, the Texas football team got something even better on Thursday morning, as Travis Scott stopped by to see the players at spring practice.
Scott has had four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but has had over 100 songs make an appearance on the list. Since his career started in 2008, Scott has been nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and, as of 2023, has sold over 49 million records in the U.S.
So, the excitement that you see from the players isn’t manufactured… Those kids are meeting one of the biggest stars in the world on the football field.
The Houston (Tex.) native hasn’t just made this new apparel line about the Longhorns, though, as he made an appearance at LSU on Wednesday night and has collaborations with several other schools, including the Houston Cougars and UCF Knights.
