Jeremiah Johnson, a former Oklahoma State signee, has committed to play under newly-hired head coach Doug Gottlieb with the Green Bay Phoenix.

Johnson reopened his recruitment in the spring and was the only Class of 2024 prospect that committed to OSU.

The No. 137 ranked player in his class had several Division I offers out of high school including Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, according to Sports Illustrated.

He spent last season playing in the Overtime Elite League and averaged 18.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.

Johnson, an Oklahoma native, was ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, and will look to lead a reloaded Green Bay squad that lost in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament last season.

The Phoenix open up their season at Oklahoma State in Stillwater to take on the Cowboys on Nov. 4, after finishing the 2023-24 campaign with an overall record of 18-14, placing third in the Horizon League.

Star point guard Noah Reynolds finished 32nd in the country in scoring during his junior season with 20 points per game.

Oklahoma State struggled in its last season under former head coach Mike Boynton going 12-20, which put them 13th in the Big 12.
