Former OU QB Spencer Rattler Gets New Truck in South Carolina NIL Deal
When the NCAA allowed for players to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), it opened a range of new possibilities for athletes to capitalize on.
One player who has taken advantage of the NIL policies is former Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Rattler, who transferred from Oklahoma to South Carolina, has gotten a local endorsement deal with Jim Hudson Chevrolet that hooked him up with a new set of wheels.
The Gamecocks quarterback responded with a positive review of the truck on Twitter saying, “I appreciate @jimhudsonchevey for taking care of me. Great group of people. Been loving the new ride!”
This is not the first time that Rattler has found himself with a new ride from a NIL deal.
After throwing a career-high five touchdowns in a 76-0 win over Western Carolina last September, while playing for Oklahoma, Rattler scored himself two new vehicles from Fowler Automotive Group.
Despite things not working out for Rattler at Oklahoma, he and his brand seem to be doing just fine in South Carolina.
