Cincinnati Collective Launches Partnership With Rhinegeist Brewery to Launch ‘Cincy Light’ Beer
Cincinnati Bearcats NIL Collective, “Cincy Reigns” just announced their official partnership with Rhinegeist Brewery, as the two groups are coming together to launch Cincy Light Beer.
According to their website, the Cincy Reigns Name/Image/Likeness (NIL) Collective is a fundraising apparatus that helps the University of Cincinnati Bearcats fan base, alumni network, businesses, and donors offer direct financial support to UC’s student-athletes.
While having a beer partnership may not help student-athletes consistently, Cincy Reigns bringing in another source of revenue to help contribute to NIL packages for players gives Cincinnati the ability to offer more money and advertisements for athletes, bringing in more talent for the university.
The Cincy Reigns NIL collective is responsible for events like the 513-day celebration, an event during the Cincinnati baseball game against the new Big 12 addition UCF, as well as the universities spring football game sponsored by Skyline Chili.
With more and more advertising dollars finding its way into college athletics, recruiting both high school prospects, and potential players in the transfer portal has given college recruiting a whole new look. With Cincy Light beer becoming the newest product of the collaboration between the two organizations, Cincinnati student-athletes should find some more opportunities coming their way in the beverage industry.
