TCU is Third-Most Bet Favorite in College Football in Week 9
The TCU Horned Frogs take their undefeated record on the road against West Virginia this weekend. And while Morgantown can be a tough place to play, the bettors are in love with the Horned Frogs this weekend.
67% of bettors are on TCU to cover their 7.5-point spread against West Virginia on Saturday, according to Betonline.ag.
This makes TCU the third-most bet favorite in college football in Week 9. The only two favorites getting more love from the bettors are Wake Forest, who is a 3.5-point favorite against Louisville and Ohio State as a 14.5-point favorite against Penn State.
All three favorites are road teams as well.
In fairness to West Virginia, the Mountaineers have had TCU’s number, especially in recent years. The Mountaineers have won four in a row and five of six against TCU. Since both teams joined the Big 12, West Virginia is 6-3 against TCU, and all there have been several close games as well, with five of their nine meetings being decided by a touchdown or less.
TCU is 7-0 on the season and ranked No. 7 in the nation, while the Mountaineers are 3-4 and coming off a brutal 48-10 loss to Texas Tech.
