On Saturday evening, Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears added yet another impressive prospect in the Class of 2026 with four-star wide receiver Ryelan Morris committing to Baylor.
Morris, a 5-foot-9 wideout from Texas, chose the Bears over offers from 19 different programs, including Oregon, USC, Texas Tech, Houston, TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and more.
Coming out of Honey Grove High School in the Class of 2026, Morris is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 143rd-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 20th-ranked receiver in his class and the 14th-ranked player in the state of Texas.
After landing some standout prospects in the Class of 2025 and 2026, it should go without saying that Baylor’s been on a roll. In the month of July, Dave Aranda’s group has earned commitments from six different players inside the Top 700, five of which are all inside the Top 350.
Owner of SicEm365, Colt Barber, spoke on the impressive recruiting run in Waco in a recent social media post, saying, “The recruiting momentum Baylor has right now is unlike anything I have seen in 15 years covering the program.”
Morris and the rest of the future Bears will have an opportunity to see their future team take the field for the first time in 2024 on Saturday, August 31st, against the Tarleton State Texans.
